STORY RECAP
What happened in Season 1?
Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander James Reece's platoon was ambushed in Syria, leaving only him and his friend Ernest 'Boozer' Vickers alive. After being medically cleared, Reece returned home to his wife Lauren and daughter Lucy, but they soon noticed his memory loss. Tragedy struck when Boozer was found dead, and Reece's family was murdered. Reece began to investigate, creating a 'terminal list' of those he believed were responsible, starting with NCIS Agent Josh Holder, who had been bribed to close the investigation into the ambush.
As Reece delved deeper, he discovered that Capstone Industries Vice President Saul Agnon was involved, and he added Agnon's name to the list. Reece then killed Agnon, learning about a project called RD4895, an experimental drug that may have been tested on his platoon, and a lawyer named Marcus Boykin who had hired sicarios to kill his family. Reece added Boykin's name to the list and killed him, then targeted Navajas, the leader of the sicario group.
Reece's investigation led him to Steve Horn, the CEO of Capstone Industries, who was involved in the RD4895 project. Reece ambushed and killed Horn, and later discovered that his Admiral, Gerald Pillar, his captain, Leonard Howard, and his commander, Bill Cox, were also involved in the conspiracy. Reece added their names to the list and killed them, using explosive and violent means.
As the FBI closed in on him, Reece continued to evade capture, using his training and resources to stay one step ahead. He eventually discovered that Secretary of Defense Lorraine Hartley had authorized the RD4895 experiment and had ordered the ambush mission that killed his platoon. Reece added Hartley's name to the list and killed her, but not before she admitted to knowing about the tumors and letting the SEALS be killed.
In a shocking twist, Reece discovered that his friend Ben Edwards was involved in the mission and had been working to help him out of repentance. Edwards denied involvement in Lauren and Lucy's deaths, but allowed Reece to kill him. With his list complete, Reece reflected on his losses and let the wind blow Lucy's family drawing into the ocean, setting sail for Mozambique.
