1. Use of the service

KnowBeforeWatch provides movie and television recaps, contextual information and related entertainment information for general informational and entertainment purposes. The service, its features and its content may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time.

2. AI-assisted content and spoilers

Some recaps and contextual information are generated or processed with the assistance of artificial intelligence based on source material referenced on the site. We make reasonable efforts to keep this content useful and accurate, but it may contain errors, omissions, misleading information or unintended spoilers and should not be treated as authoritative.

Recaps intentionally contain spoilers for earlier movies or TV seasons. We aim to avoid revealing events from the title you are about to watch, but we cannot guarantee that every generated result will be free from unintended spoilers.

3. Third-party data, sources and links

Movie and television metadata, images, collection relationships and ratings are sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB). Certain source material used for recaps may come from Wikipedia and is attributed and linked where applicable. Ratings reflect TMDB user ratings when the data is retrieved and may change over time.

Third-party names, trademarks, images, data and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. KnowBeforeWatch is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. External websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and KnowBeforeWatch is not responsible for their content, availability or security.

4. Privacy & data processing

KnowBeforeWatch does not currently require user accounts and does not use optional advertising, profiling or analytics cookies. Search terms and requested pages are processed as needed to provide the service.

The site is hosted and protected using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, including IP address, request and device information, timestamps, network information and security signals. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary cookies or similar identifiers for security, bot detection, traffic management and other essential functions.

If you contact KnowBeforeWatch by email, your email address and the contents of your message are processed only as needed to receive and respond to your request. Contact information is not used by KnowBeforeWatch for advertising or profiling.

Some images and external resources may be loaded from third-party services such as TMDB. Those services may receive standard technical request information when a resource is requested or when you follow an external link, and they process that information according to their own privacy practices.

5. Accuracy and availability

KnowBeforeWatch does not guarantee that information on the site is accurate, complete, current, reliable or continuously available. Content may be corrected, updated, changed or removed at any time without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

KnowBeforeWatch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KnowBeforeWatch and its operators will not be liable for any loss, damage or other consequence arising from your use of the service, your inability to use it, or your reliance on information displayed on the site.

7. Changes to these terms

These Terms of Use may be updated as the service, its infrastructure or its use of third-party tools changes. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of KnowBeforeWatch after an update means you accept the revised terms.
