Mission: Impossible III

In Mission: Impossible, IMF agent Ethan Hunt's life is turned upside down when his team, led by Jim Phelps, is sent to Prague to stop rogue agent Alexander Golitsyn from stealing the CIA's NOC list. The operation goes awry, and Ethan is the only survivor, soon discovering that the mission was a setup to lure out a mole within the IMF. As Ethan delves deeper, he uncovers Jim's true intentions and learns that he is the mole. Ethan's plan to expose Jim ultimately leads to a confrontation on a train to Paris, where Ethan outsmarts Jim, leading to Jim's demise. With the NOC list recovered, Ethan is reinstated in the IMF and is offered a chance to lead a new team. As the story continues in Mission: Impossible II, a new threat emerges in the form of the Chimera virus, a biological weapon developed by Doctor Vladimir Nekhorvich. IMF agent Sean Ambrose betrays Nekhorvich, stealing the Bellerophon cure, and Ethan Hunt is tasked with recovering both the virus and the cure. Ethan recruits Nyah Nordoff-Hall, Ambrose's ex-girlfriend, to help track him down. As the mission unfolds, Nyah injects herself with the Chimera virus, and Ethan must navigate a complex web of betrayal and deception to stop Ambrose and save Nyah's life. In the end, Ethan kills Ambrose in a fistfight, and Luther injects Nyah with the Bellerophon cure, saving her from the deadly virus. With the crisis averted, the IMF clears Nyah's criminal record, and Ethan begins a vacation with her in Sydney, marking a new chapter in his life.
