Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone begins with Harry Potter, an orphaned boy, living with his cruel Muggle relatives, the Dursleys. On his eleventh birthday, Harry discovers he is a wizard and begins attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he meets his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Together, they become entangled in a mystery surrounding the powerful Philosopher's Stone, which can grant immortality. They soon learn that Voldemort, a dark wizard, is trying to return to power and is attempting to obtain the Stone. Harry and his friends successfully prevent Voldemort's return by protecting the Stone, and Harry learns that his mother's sacrifice has given him a special protection against the dark wizard. As the story continues in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his second year, despite warnings from Dobby, a house-elf, not to return. A mysterious Chamber of Secrets has been reopened, unleashing a monster that is petrifying Muggle-born students. Harry, Ron, and Hermione work together to uncover the truth behind the Chamber and the identity of the person who opened it. They eventually discover that Ginny Weasley, Ron's sister, has been taken into the Chamber, and Harry enters the Chamber to rescue her. Inside, he finds Tom Riddle's diary, which is a piece of Voldemort's soul, and destroys it, saving Ginny and closing the Chamber. In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry learns that Sirius Black, a wizard believed to have betrayed his parents to Voldemort, has escaped from Azkaban prison. However, Harry soon discovers that Black is his godfather and is innocent of the crime. The true traitor is Peter Pettigrew, a friend of Harry's father, who has been hiding in plain sight as Ron's pet rat, Scabbers. With the help of Hermione and Professor Lupin, Harry and Sirius work to clear Sirius's name and expose Pettigrew. They successfully rescue Buckbeak, a hippogriff, from execution and help Sirius escape on the creature. The story takes a darker turn in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as Harry is unexpectedly selected as a participant in the Triwizard Tournament, a magical competition between three schools. Despite the risks, Harry is forced to compete and, with the help of his friends, navigates the challenges of the tournament. However, the tournament takes a tragic turn when Cedric Diggory, another competitor, is killed by Peter Pettigrew on Voldemort's orders. Harry witnesses Voldemort's return to power and is tortured by the dark wizard. The Ministry of Magic denies Voldemort's return, and Dumbledore announces the truth to the wizarding world. In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry is struggling to convince the wizarding world that Voldemort has indeed returned. The Ministry of Magic is in denial, and Dumbledore's authority is being undermined. Harry forms a secret group, Dumbledore's Army, to teach his classmates defensive spells against the Dark Arts. Meanwhile, Voldemort's followers, the Death Eaters, are becoming increasingly powerful, and Harry's godfather, Sirius, is killed by Bellatrix Lestrange during a battle at the Ministry of Magic. The prophecy that connects Harry and Voldemort is revealed, stating that "Neither can live while the other survives." The story concludes with the Ministry finally acknowledging Voldemort's return and Dumbledore's return to power as Hogwarts headmaster.
