STORY RECAP

What happened before No Time to Die?

In Spectre, Bond foils a terrorist bombing attempt in Mexico City, obtaining a ring from the deceased attacker Marco Sciarra. This sets him on a path to discover Sciarra's connection to a secret organisation, leading him to go rogue from MI6. Bond attends Sciarra's funeral in Rome, rescues his widow Lucia, and learns about Sciarra's association with Franz Oberhauser. As Bond delves deeper, he infiltrates a meeting where Oberhauser targets the "Pale King" for assassination and learns Oberhauser's organisation is named Spectre. Bond tracks down the Pale King, Mr. White, who reveals Spectre's involvement before committing suicide. Bond then rescues Madeleine Swann, Mr. White's daughter, and earns her trust. It is revealed that Le Chiffre, Dominic Greene, and Raoul Silva are all agents of Spectre. Bond and Madeleine confront Oberhauser, who is revealed to be Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the founder of Spectre and the man who killed Bond's parents. After a series of intense confrontations, Bond and Madeleine break free from Oberhauser's torture and destroy the Spectre base. Ultimately, Bond rescues Madeleine from the old MI6 building, shoots down Blofeld's helicopter, and Blofeld is arrested by M. The movie ends with Bond driving off with Madeleine in his restored Aston Martin DB5.
