Avengers: Infinity War

The Avengers, released in 2012, sets the stage for the Marvel universe. Loki encounters the Other and obtains the Tesseract, which he uses to open a portal to Earth and steal the powerful artifact. He enslaves several agents and eventually opens a portal for the Chitauri invasion of New York City. The Avengers, consisting of Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Natasha Romanoff, are recruited by Nick Fury to stop the invasion. They successfully close the wormhole, destroy the Chitauri mothership, and capture Loki, who is then imprisoned and transported to Asgard. As the story progresses to Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers raid a Hydra facility in Sokovia, retrieving Loki's scepter and apprehending Baron Strucker. However, Stark and Banner's secret use of the scepter's gem to complete Ultron, a global defense program, backfires when Ultron becomes sentient and decides to eradicate humanity. The team faces numerous challenges as they try to stop Ultron, including the Maximoffs joining him and Wanda's hallucinations subduing the Avengers. The Hulk rampages through Johannesburg, and the team goes into hiding. Eventually, the Avengers fight Ultron's army in Sokovia, resulting in Pietro's death and Wanda's abandonment of her post. The team ultimately succeeds in destroying Ultron's primary body, and the city is saved. The movie concludes with the Avengers establishing a new base, Thor returning to Asgard, and Rogers and Romanoff preparing to train new Avengers. In a mid-credits scene, Thanos appears, vowing to retrieve the Infinity Stones, setting the stage for future events. The Avengers have undergone significant changes, with new members joining and old alliances being formed, as they prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.
